According to the news agency ANI, a Mumbai police officer confirmed that Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg with his licensed revolver. Following the incident, he was rushed to the hospital.
How the Accident Happened
As per reports, Govinda was preparing to leave for Kolkata and was placing his licensed revolver in its case when it accidentally slipped from his hands. Due to a misfire, a bullet struck his leg, resulting in the injury.
How is His Health Now?
Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, informed ANI that doctors have successfully removed the bullet from the actor’s leg. He is now doing well; however, he remains in the hospital for the time being.
